The Programme
Established in 1994, the Department offers a 3-year MCA programme in :

• Master of Computer Applications (MCA), with an annual intake of 60 students.

The Staff
The Department has 12 members of faculty and 2 technical supporting staff, with 1 Professor, 2 Associate Professors, 9 Assistant Professors in the department.

Distinctions
The faculty is credited with presenting papers in national computer conventions. The Department brings out a popular monthly technical bulletin 'Techies Bite' that presents the latest trends in information technology.
The Students of the Department, apart from winning kudos in various co-curricular contests, have also been earning, consistently, top academic honours. In various sports and games too, the students have distinguished themselves at the university level.
