The Programme
The Department of Information Technology was established in the year 2000. The department offers a 4-year B.E. Degree programme in:
- Information Technology, with an annual intake of 60 students.
With specific emphasis on emerging technologies and empirical mode of learning, the programme ensures that the student effectively meets the highest benchmarks of competence required by the industry.

Infrastructure
The Department includes three laboratories. The laboratories house 102 computer systems, connected to the campus-wide LAN. The laboratories are equipped with various software C, C++, Oracle, Visual Studio, Java and Case Tools. The students are also trained in the following advanced labs: DSP Lab, VLSI Design Centre, Data Communication and Networking Lab, and Embedded Systems Lab

The College has formal alliances with such reputed IT-oriented organisations as PortalPlayer Pvt. Ltd., Vantel Technologies Ltd., Orillion India Software Pvt. Ltd., and Qualcore Logic Ltd., to facilitate student training, projects, internship, and expert lectures.
